The Rising Star program is excited to welcome former NBA player and successful entrepreneur, Al Harrington to our team of mentors.
BlackMINT's Rising Star program, created through collaboration with Athlete Technology Group and supported by RBC Future Launch, has brought on former NBA player Al Harrington as a mentor. The Toronto Star covered the development, interviewing Athlete Technology Group CEO and Founder Randy Osei alongside Harrington about their involvement. Harrington expressed his commitment: "After all the things that I've experienced in my life, from being a professional athlete to becoming an entrepreneur, I think that there are a lot of stories that I have that are very meaningful and could help elevate the youth."

The initiative represents a collaboration between BlackMINT, Athlete Tech Group, and RBC Future Launch. The Rising Star program operates as a nine-month initiative welcoming 25 students, offering practical tech experience, networking, and scholarship opportunities upon completion.
